These are all good reasons to seek spiritual direction (also known as spiritual companion-ing):
If you want to deepen your experience of God.
If you want to know your version of God more.
If you want to grow deeper into your God.
If you are not sure what spiritual direction is but are curious to experience it.
If you desire someone to listen and be a witness to your experience of the God you know.
If you are seeking another or a new spiritual practice that supports your spiritual growth.
If you are going through transition.
If you want to pray with another.
If you are going through a period of discernment in your life.
If you are experiencing inner conflict and desire God’s help.
And there are probably more reasons, but these are some basic ones.
Good reasons to consider me as a spiritual director?
I am an interfaith pan denominational minister in training. I have a Catholic background and I am aligned with the unitarian universalist philosophy. I regularly: pray, meditate, contemplate, tithe, attend church services, engage in activities that spiritually feed me and take classes in spiritual formation/development.
I abide by the spiritual director’s international code of ethics. While I do charge a set rate for spiritual direction, I am flexible with what you are able to afford, should you have financial hardship.
