What Are The Akashic Records?

In my last post I talked about participating in a guided meditation to the Akashic Records. While most healing artist folk know what the Akashic Records are, I know that there once was a time when I didn’t know what the heck they were.

This post is dedicated to those who may not know what the Akashic Records are or have a vague idea of them but are curious enough about them to want to do some learnin’. I hope I can be of some help in your learnin’.

Firstly, the Akashic Records are not an actual earth realm library. I used to wonder if they were “real” or not. I’d wonder, ‘do they actually exist somewhere here on earth, in some close by archeology / anthropology museum or something?’ I was confused. But you don’t have to be.

The Akashic Records exist on a non-physical plane of existence. They exist in Akasha, a sanskrit word for ‘ether’, the element or plane that describes sky or space. The way I think of the element of ether, sometimes spelled aether, is that it’s the space of heaven. It’s the sky in space. You may already be familiar with the 5 elements = water, earth, fire, air, and ether’ (or if you are familiar with traditional Chinese medicine the fifth element would be metal).

What are the Akashic Records?

“The Akashic record refer to a database of every word, thought, or action that is stored energetically.” – Akashic Secrets Website.

Like a library of archives, the Akashic Records hold every soul’s information in every direction of time and even in no-time zones. Just like the virtual software that they are, the Akashic Records are continually updated. Their updates reflect a soul’s every new thought, word, and action that the soul being makes. Included in the Akashic Records is a energetic version of say, a finger print. This energetic “tracking” system tells us about a soul’s origins and journeys through all lifetimes. Just fascinating, yes?

So how and why would you want to get into this virtual library, Akashic Records?

How to get into this library is really easy. Rather than a plastic card with a magnetic strip on the back, you can access it through your heart and mind. A deep and relaxing meditation does the trick.  You may even “accidentally” access them through your dreams. The Akashic Records do not have exclusive membership. Because thr records literally hold every piece of data on every single soul ever, everyone can and may access the records. I love the all-inclusiveness! I will repeate: The Akashic Records are for everyone. Not to say that you don’t have special powers, gifts or abilities already, but you do not need them in order to access the Akashic Records.

Some people may experience trouble accessing the Akashic Records. This is likely due to having a chatty and cluttered mind or a less strong connection to your higher self or to the divinity that is within yourself. If this is you or someone you may know, I suggest practicing meditation(s). Meditation in fact helps to clear the mind so you can get on with a journey to the Akashic Records. Meditation in fact does connect you to divinity on various levels and that is all very personal. I encourage regular meditation practice if you would like to head to the Akashic Record library.

Why visit the Akashic Records?

I believe that the answer to this questions is personal.

Sometimes we are led to the Akashic Records without even knowing that that is where we were going (as in my case). Trusting that that happened for a divine reason is very important. Truly, under this scenario, you would only be able to access the records because it was meant to be so.

Ask yourself if you are ready to have an understanding of who you are as a Soul. There is great knowledge and great potential in not just knowing but understanding yourself as a soul. Getting in touch with your soul self has the ability to impact your life path here and now.

And just in case it wasn’t clear, you can access the Akashic Records way more than once.
